The Eclipse timepiece is inspired by Muhammad Al-Battani’s work in observing and calculating eclipses. His astronomical tables improved the understanding of the Sun and Moon’s movements, helping scholars determine when these celestial alignments would occur.
The Eclipse reflects this through its dark blue dial and light outer tachymeter scale, similar to the ring of light formed during a solar eclipse.
